Registration Options

Yellowknife Minor Hockey

U5 - 2017

This program offers up to 1.5 hours of hockey (practices and games) per week for both male and female players 4 to 6 years. The emphasis is on basic skill development and participation in a positive and safe environment. It is designed for first year players or players under 5.

Fee: $498.75

* first year of hockey (non skater)

Please note the following mandatory equipment. Players will not be permitted to play unless all equipment is worn:

  • -Helmet -Neck guard -Shoulder pads -Elbow pads -Jersey -Pants -Jock strap -Shin pads -Socks -Skates -Stick -Hockey Bag - Mouth Guard (recommended, not mandatory)

U7 - 2015, 2016

This program offers up to 2 hours of hockey (practices and games) per week for both male and female players 5 to 6 years. The emphasis is on skill development and participation in a positive and safe environment.

Fee: $630.00

 

* One or more years of hockey

Please note the following mandatory equipment. Players will not be permitted to play unless all equipment is worn:

  • -Helmet  -Neck guard -Shoulder pads -Elbow pads -Jersey -Pants -Jock strap -Shin pads -Socks -Skates -Stick -Hockey Bag - Mouth Guard (recommended, not mandatory)

U9 - 2013, 2014

This program offers 2.25 hours of hockey (practices and games) per week for both male and female players age 7 and 8 years. The emphasis is on skill development and participation in a positive and safe environment.

Fee: $740.25

U11 - 2011, 2012

Fee: $840.00

This program offers 3.75 hours of hockey (practices and games) per week for both male and female players age 9 and 10 years. The emphasis is on skill development and participation in a positive and safe environment.

U15 - 2007, 2008

Fee: $840.00

This program offers 3.75 hours of hockey (practices and games) per week for both male and female players age 13 and 14 years. The emphasis is on skill development and participation in a positive and safe environment.

  • -Helmet -Neck guard -Shoulder pads -Elbow pads -Jersey -Pants -Jock strap -Shin pads -Socks -Skates -Stick -Hockey Bag - Mouth Guard (recommended, not mandatory)

U18 - 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006

Fee: $861.00

This program offers 3.75 hours of hockey (1 practice and 2 games) per week for both male and female players age 15-18. The program continues to provide skill development opportunities while participating in a positive and safe environment.

Please note the following mandatory equipment. Players will not be permitted to play unless all equipment is worn:

  • -Helmet -Neck guard -Shoulder pads -Elbow pads -Jersey -Pants -Jock strap -Shin pads -Socks -Skates -Stick -Hockey Bag - Mouth Guard (recommended, not mandatory)

Note:  Birth year of 2003 is not eligible to play on the Midget Development Team

 

 

Development Teams

U11, U13, U15, U18

Fee: $385.87

These teams require the player to tryout at the beginning of the year. They play in the division above. We have Development A teams and sometimes Development B teams depending on interest.  The A teams can travel anywhere from 3-5 tournaments down south per year.

 

Female Teams Note: Please note that for all female teams the ages are a guideline only.  Players will be moved based on ability so players may have a positive year.

Female Program

This program offers 1.25 hours of hockey (practices) per week for female players. The emphasis is on skill development and participation in a positive and safe environment.

Fee: $220.50
