 Welcome to the 2024/2025 Hockey Season! The League is very excited to welcome new and existing players, families, and volunteers back to another year of hockey. We are jumping into the season starting as of September 3rd with Dust the Rust. Development Team tryouts will follow starting on September 11th.  House League balancing will follow after development evaluations with schedule and groups being sent in the future.
The following attachments are available on the website and for reference:

2. Groups for Dust the Rust (for U9-U18) 
  •  A couple of notes, these groups are only for the dust the rust times and will change for evaluations. 
  • All players in U5 and U7 are required to attend the ice time, there is not designated teams for this age group. 
  • Please see the groups, based on your team colour we request you wear a dark or light jersey. This will be your team for the designated ice times.

Development Try Outs
Development tryout lists will be distributed in the coming weeks. 
Once Development Team evaluations are complete, house balancing will start right away with the goal of starting regular season on September 30th with AK Hockey sessions.
 
 House League Outstanding Coaching and Ice support Needs
 
For U5, U7, U13, U15 & U18  to be able to run these ice times we still need head coaches and assistant coaches. 
U7 - 2 Head Coaches, Assistant Coaches and On-Ice Helpers
U13 - 2 Head Coaches, Assistant Coaches and On-Ice Helpers
U15 - 2 Head Coaches, Assistant Coaches and On-Ice Helpers
U18 -  1 Head Coach, Assistant Coaches and On-Ice Helpers
U5-  3 Head Coaches, Assistant Coaches and On-Ice Helpers
 
Team Managers and Governors for U5, U7, U9, U13 and U15 divisions are needed. If you are interested in these positions please contact me to discuss the role and support your volunteer efforts.
 
Volunteer Requests for Dust the Rust
We do need at least 3 volunteers per ice time for U9-U18 for dust the rust. 
  • 2 Bench Supervisors (U11-U18) 
  • 4 Bench Supervisors (U9)
  • 1 on Ice support
  • 1 Timekeeper
